Hey, i am trying to find difference sources for prius parts.
I want to stay away from cheap toyota parts from aftermarket parts companies that go within months of buying them. I had too much bad experience using cheap parts on my older cars. It's so much more worth it spending the extra and getting parts that last a lot longer and hold more quality.

So where do you buy your prius parts:

Toyota Dealership?
Auto Zone?
Napa Auto Parts?
Other? please mention it
Online? where do you look?

the times i'll prob check out Nappa if not i'll prob just buy OEM parts from the dealer, its just better that way...
you can never go wrong with oem Toyota parts already knowing your getting what was made for your vehicle from the people that developed it from day one, also the manufacture warranty is usually good. Pay more now, and it will do you good in the long run. Don't go for cheap "OEM spec" parts from Napa.

Buddy of mine bought "OEM spec" brake pads and within a few months they were no longer good. OEM Toyota Pad's lasted nearly 1 year with daily driving.

aftermarket "OEM spec" parts are just as fine as OEM
thinking about it now, some large aftermarket companies make OEM parts for major car brands......

it all comes down to the quality of parts, that will determine what is better than what.

e.x. ceramic pads are better than metallic, metallic wear out faster.

I would only go to the dealer for oem parts for something as high tech and confusing as the Prius.

OEM spec parts are never OEM spec as they say and the life span is usually shorter!
