The police of The Ukraine will now appear a little more friendly while toughening up the image of the Toyota Prius. With the recent $34 million order of 1,220 Prius hybrids, the cars will become a very popular although likely scary sight in the rear-view mirrors of Ukrainian motorists.
There are currently about 300 hybrids on the roads of the Eastern-European nation. All the Lexus and Toyota hybrids are imported by Sumitomo, a company with the exclusive import rights to the green-automobiles.
