Four teams, fronted by world-class drivers and gearheads, face-off to create customized versions of their favorite Toyotas. Will the drivers be able to make their dreams a reality or will the tests of time, engineering and logistics become a living nightmare?
Your votes could put $50,000 in the hands of a charity chosen by the winning team. Stay tuned to the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge. The winner will be revealed at the Specialty Equipment Market Assocation (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas on October 30th, and you'll be able to watch it all happen live from your computer or mobile device.
NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer is taking his Prius to RK Performance Center in Charlotte for a “tekk”nological make-over. NHRA Top Fueler, Antron Brown has enlisted the Motorsports Technical Center in Torrance, CA to build out a Family Dragster Sequoia. Driver of the #18 M&M’s Camry, Kyle Busch, will give a once-stock Camry the “Rowdy” Edition treatment at Detroit Speed, Inc. in Mooresville, NC. Finally, funny car rising star, Alexis DeJoria tackles an off-road Tundra pre-runner. This Tundra will push the team at Racer Engineering in San Jacinto, CA to the limits.
