I was just reading up about the different Prius models that are set to come out and the one that I'm really curious about is the Prius V. Its basically the same as a 3rd generation Prius but with an extended roofline, longer wheelbase, more cargo space. and more interior space. But on a downside you get less mpg. A lot less.... from 50 mpg it becomes 40 mpg combined(city/highway). Here's an article about it.

It all boils down to whether or not you need the extra space. For example if you have a small family and your kids arent that big yet then the regular Prius might be good enough for you. But if you normally have adults in your car then the bigger Prius v might be more of what youre going to need.
