I'm in the market

Brand new to these forums. I was going to buy my wife a used 2010-2012 used Prius IV with navigation, low miles, and heated seats (among other options), so basically, decked out. Now, I'm thinking of waiting until next year when the 2014's come out. I heard they will might be plug-ins with lithium batteries and could get 90 mpg. My wife drives 90 miles round trip everyday, maybe too far for plug-ins? This may have been discussed elsewhere or before my question since I just joined but I didn't see this topic anywhere. Should I wait for these newer ones to come out or buy now? I don't want to stick money into a car and then a way better one comes out the next year.
