Hello, I am new to this site. I currently drive a 92 Lexus LS400 that gets 13 mpg in town. I'm looking to increase my mileage, and obviously I'm not going to do that in the same car, so it's time to trade, and I'm going brand new this time.
I'm looking at either a new Prius or a new Ford Fusion Hybrid. Could you guys tell me the advantages/disadvantages of the Prius over the Fusion? I've grown up with mostly Fords but we also had a few Toyotas, plus my Lexus.

Hi Lexus guy ,I am brand new to this site and i was in the same boat as you are . Last Saturday i traded in my 04 Volvo XC90 on a 11 prius 5 . I Was getting 10-11 mpg in my Volvo with the T6 turbo. My biggest decision on getting the Prius was quality i am just not sold on Ford's quality .

Also i am a big man 6'4'' 300 and i have plenty of room in my Prius . I love looking at the dash and seeing 491 miles to empty lol and a 11.9 gal tank. It only has 178 miles on it so fat but i am loving it
IMO you cant go wrong with a Prius

Edit: btw the Prius has very good ( 4 and 5 star) crash ratings
