Spoke to Auto Sunroof and they looked at the car and said they could do it for 995.00 with 3 year warrenty

Wow, not much action on this forum... I have heard the aftermarket sun roofs will all leak in time, (normally shortly after the warranty ends). You can get a Prius 3 with solar / sunroof, which is what we got. Then you have the full warranty, and even extended warranty if you choose. I am fairly impressed with the Prius sun roof as the way it opens, the front glass slides forward and tilts up, for the wind break, rather than some flimsy pop up screen that creates so much noise and catches bugs, which is what was on our 2013 Dodge Dart. The front wind "deflector" is needed so you don't get that helicopter concussion sound going down the road with the sun roof open. (Same type of sound as leaving a rear window down a bit).
