Following the instructions of several YouTube videos, I changed the rotting rubber steering wheel on my 2013 Prius C with a leather wheel form a Prius C of the same year. The process went well; however when I turned on the ignition the SRS warning light (airbag not working light) appeared and has remained on for a couple of weeks now. Does anyone know how to restore the airbag function? Can I do this myself or do I have to go to the dealer, and get charged $$$$? This problem did not show up in any of the videos.

Well, it really was not a good idea to do it yourself from the beginning.
ALL car makers seriously suggest that you NOT mess with the air bags yourself.

You are lucky that whatever malfunction occurred did not trigger the air bad to explode in your face.
I suggest that you have a dealer fix it right.
