Hi all,

My 2013 Prius sat around for a bit during the pandemic, and now for some reason the touch screen has stopped fully working.

The display lights up, but none of the controls will respond until I hit the Volume + button on my steering wheel control. At that point the physical buttons work (can change between AM/FM, etc) and the radio can be turned on, but the touch display doesnt sense inputs. The bluetooth connection also fails to connect to my phone.

Any guides or assistance would be appreciated. Here's hoping I don't have to replace it.

How's your 12 V battery voltage ?
Beyond that, your display or radio "head unit" probably has failed.

Replaced the battery fairly recently so it should be good. The issue occurred before and after the replacement.

You probably are right. Probably.
But you should never count on that being right without at least a quick check.

My money is on the head unit. This same thing happened to me 4-5 years ago in a 2013. Dealer wanted over 600 to fix. I found the exact same head unit (used, but in working condition) on eBay for 100 and fixed it myself. Problem solved.
