Found several of these instructional videos from Toyota. It like your owners manual but in video form. This one is for the 2010 Toyota Prius Smart Key.

Great idea's but their keys look very plain...

As for the extended key, may manufactures have the same thing but i just think the handle on those things are wayy too tiny!

something about the smart keys worry me. imagine if you just happen to be within a close distance of your car. whats there to stop two people from distracting you while the other one opens your car easily and quickly grabs whatever valuables are inside.
