I think your "analysis" of it not being a battery problem is flawed.
Especially if you were sitting there in Accessory mode instead of "ready" (running).
And what is a "few years" ? 12 V batteries often don't last more than a "few years".
My guess is that a jump start would get you going.......and maybe having it completely OFF overnight would allow it to start again. I don't suppose it is parked where connecting a charger is an option ??
