Default Second Generation Prius Build Quality

I just asked the same question in the 1st generation prius section but it makes me curious how Toyota has developed their prius over the years and how much the build quality has changed year over year.

Ie Plastic Trim pieces
Paint
And also the interior any broken pieces or what not.

From what i see in most of the new Toyota cars is that, the plastic used is more durable and flex-able and it doesn't crack as easily. As terms of everything else i couldn't tell ya! sorry dude!

Plastic have become more durable and flexible, and most likely the quality of plastic back then was most likely more brittle and probably has hardened by now as well.

haven't they rubberized the plastic or did something to it to allow it to flex more, withstand impact and last longer? I remember reading up on something like this about auto manufactures using some new or special type of plastic.
