Default Top 15 Best Fuel Injector Cleaners

Quote:
Fuel injector cleaners can help increase your car's performance and fuel economy. We pick the best ones you can buy.

If you notice that your car might not accelerate as quickly as it once did, that the engine is running a bit rougher than you remember, or that your fuel economy has dipped but everything else is otherwise working fine in your car, it might be time to treat your engine to a fuel injector cleaning. Your engine has a lot of moving parts and if there’s gunk and grime buildup inside, it has to work even harder to get the job done. A clean engine is a more efficient engine, so a fuel injector cleaning is an important part of maintaining your car. Do you agree with this list?

I'm a bit disappointed with this "review".
No, make that a LOT disappointed.

It seems to put more emphasis on "carbon cleaning" than injector cleaning.
AND.....it seems to believe all the marketing claims from the various companies rather than actual tests.
What actual criteria did you use in determining "best" ??

AND.....it includes SeaFoam which is basically snake oil that is marketed to solve every problem under the sun......
and leaves out what might be the best fuel system cleaner on the market: Berrymans B12 Chemtool.

Carbon deposits should generally just be left alone and you should NEVER put a solvent in the crankcase along with your oil.

So.....here's my "list".
Based on over 50 years of vehicle maintenance on maybe a hundred different ones:

Heavy duty fuel system cleaner (including injectors):
Berrymans B 12 Chemtool
Original formula Gumout

Medium duty cleaner and routine injector maintenence:
Techron

Not even on the list: SeaFoam, which was designed as a marine fuel stabilizer and just accidentally has some light duty solvent properties.
