I have a 2013 Prius 2.My brake lights come on when I hit the pedal, but these flashing lights around the brake light also come on. Does anyone know why, or how to stop it?

Sorry about the posts, new to this.As long as my foot is on the brake pedal, these lights around the brake light are continually flashing.

First....PLEASE don't post the same question in more than one place. That just confuses matters.
I have deleted the other two threads that you started.

Then....you need to explain this a bit more.
It is possible that the last owner added a modification to do that on purpose.
As long as they only flash a few times and then go out or go steady, that is OK.

Or are you saying that the tail lights or turn signals come on with the brake lights and STAY on with them ??

You might need a shop visit to figure this out.

I'm afraid that you need to visit a dealership because a previous owner probably did that on purpose and it needs to be UN-done.
I don't think that there ARE any "lights around the brake light" when stock.
And they certainly are not supposed to flash continuously like that.

P.S. I moved your most recent post over to your original thread......here.

OK, given that important detail, then you probably have a bad ground in the back near the tail/stop lights.
Trace the wires and see if one goes to a bolt near the lights.

OR if you take it to a shop, the fix should be fairly easy and inexpensive......hopefully.
