Default '13 Prius C MPG

I'm driving my daughters '13 Prius C a couple times a week as she is away at school and I want to keep it healthy. Recently, my MPG reading seems to be stuck on 43 mpg regardless of what display mode is in. I had cycle through the display settings a couple times but I don't think I pushed anything to cause this reading to stay stuck at 43. I don't know much about this car and the electronics manual loan is rather mind-boggling, at least in my opinion. Anyone have any ideas on what it is, how to reset it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Doug.

Default

With the display set at a window that shows an MPG number, push and hold the center "cursor" button on the left side of the steering wheel. That will reset THAT display only.

For a person who doesn't pay any attention to those numbers, it is fairly common to have all of them end up showing a "long term" average, which will be the same on all the displays after a long period of time.

There is one display that automatically resets each time the car is started.
I think it is called "trip information".
