Default No Garage, no PHV?

If i don't have a garage let say or i live in a Condo, where would i install a PHV Station? Could i buy a weather proof on and leave it outside. Also could i just use a normal extension cord to plug it into or would that cause an electrical risk?

If you live in a house with no garage or carport, you put the charging station inside and put a weatherproof outlet outside.
If it's a rental, must have permission of the owner.

Condos are a bigger problem though and often there is NO good solution.......if the governing body or owner won't give permission.

A "normal" extension cord can work......IF it is heavy enough gauge AND it is not too long. And it doesn't create a safety hazard.
