Default Mugen CRZ - Toyota to Produce TRD Prius?

Honda has taken the initiative to spin a one off version of the CRZ and possibly even make production parts for it.

Will Toyota release any TRD part for it giving some extra flare or even some light weight carbon parts to give the car some more style and weight reduction as well!

I sure hope Toyota does something about it. It will help bring a new type of buyer to the Prius, young people.

Most young people these days just want a cheap, fast and fancy car and don't care for a hybrid vehicle. If the Prius can be "cool" they will buy it.

Correct me if im wrong but isn't their a special edition TRD Prius, i think 1 was made as a "concept"

I agree if Toyota opened up their TRD department and let them get their hands on it and released a more sport version of it young people would prob love to own one and not look down upon it so much as a hybrd!

I just read an article to give the Prius more Unique-ness they gave the Prius a Plus package allowing extra options such as wheels seats and other things that make the car special.

I dont think toyota has any intention to release a "sports" trd edition of the Prius as that isnt what it is sold as where-as the CR-Z is based of a sports heritage and thus its a "sporty" Hybrid!

Thats right! there's now a TRD tuned Prius called the Prius PLUS.

Anyone interested in seeing what the Prius PLUS looks like and it's specs should look at this thread: https://www.priusforum.com/forum/toyo...-real-trd.html

I'm pleased with the Prius PLUS package pricing, it's reasonable!
