Default 1st Gen Prius build quality.

How has the 1st gen prius interior trim help up, ie the paint, interior plastic trim pieces?

Also the weather trim as well has it hardened and begun to crack and other minor issues that make cars annoying and less fun to own?

I had the chance to drive a first generation prius and they are good cars. How the interior holds up varies from owner to owner. The specific first gen prius i was in had a interior in decent shape, only problem the weather stripping was falling off (bad clips i guess?)

Default Hello

Thinking of Prius for long time…I just walked orange county Toyota dealer and bought it. It was a hastened decision, but it’s like that….simply I was impressed by their service. elmore toyota

welcome to the forum, you should make yourself an intro thread in this section:
New Member Introductions - Toyota Prius Forum : Toyota Prius Forums

Assuming you bought yourself a 1st generation Prius, what made you choose that over a newer Prius??? Most people I know would buy a newer one just because it's newer, parts easier to get, less things to worry about, etc...

Welcome to the forum.

Your request for help probably would get a better response if you created your OWN thread with a proper title instead of jumping in on the end of an unrelated discussion.

There is nothing "magic" about a grid charger. Using one on an old battery is just a bandaid at best. If the cells really have worn out and failed, they need to be replaced.
