Default H.I.D's on a Prius

I want H.I.D's like this:

Im trying to figure out what brightness those HID's are, im thinking either:

6000k
8000k
9000k

If i get the HID kit and install it myself, is it something I can do myself or do I take it to a shop to get installed?

Installing H.I.D.'s are the easiest thing you can do, it's all plug and play. It's just like changing a headlight bulb, but with a couple connectors and wires, no biggie.

Depending where you live having something higher than 6k might run you into cop trouble saying your headlights are "blue". Word of advice, 6K is your best bet, it's still bright and looks "legal"

well even if it gets you into trouble shouldn't be too much of an issue as long as the light beams are still white.

Today's hid's are simple everything is just plug and play! thank god for easy to use HID's
