First: There is a "warranty enhancement" (Customer Support Program ZHB) on the 2010 and 2011 Prius for headlight life issues. However, it expires October 31, 2019. If you bought your Prius new, you should have received a sticker to be placed in your warranty book explaining the coverage. Strangely, you have to bring it to the dealer with both headlamps burned out, thus making your car illegal to drive.

Second: Two- or three-sided LED lamps will not give adequate light in the projector units used in the 3G Prius. You'll need four- or eight-sided LED lamps. There are plenty available on Amazon. I used SoCal's, but one of them started flickering after just over a year, so I yanked them out and haven't replaced them with another set of LED's yet.
